Refund Policy
Last updated 27 July 2026
1. Payments made to a Moneyr user
Moneyr operates payment links (/pay/<handle>) that let a payer send money directly to a Moneyr user. Moneyr is a payment facilitator, not the seller — refund eligibility for goods or services purchased this way is between the payer and the Moneyr user they paid. If a payment was made in error or the recipient agrees to a refund, the recipient can process it back to the original card or payment method through their wallet.
2. Disputed card payments
If you paid by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay and believe a charge was unauthorized or incorrect, you can dispute it with your card issuer. Disputes are handled through our payment processor, Stripe; a successful dispute reverses the payment and adjusts the recipient’s wallet balance accordingly.
3. Wallet-to-bank and wallet-to-e-wallet payouts
Withdrawals from your Moneyr balance to a bank account or e-wallet are generally irreversible once completed. If a payout fails or is rejected before completion, the held amount is automatically returned to your wallet balance. If you believe a completed payout was sent in error due to a Moneyr system fault, contact us immediately — we’ll investigate and, where our error is confirmed, work to recover or make good the funds.
4. Cryptocurrency
Cryptocurrency deposits and on-chain transactions cannot be reversed or refunded once confirmed on the relevant network. Converting crypto to your fiat balance (cash-out) reflects the exchange rate quoted at the time and is final once executed.
5. Fees
Network, processing, and conversion fees already incurred on a transaction are generally non-refundable, even where the underlying payment is refunded or reversed, except where required by law.
6. How to request help
To report an incorrect payment, ask about a refund, or flag a payout issue, contact support from within your Moneyr account or email legal@moneyr.app. We aim to acknowledge refund and dispute requests promptly.
